Platform | Nextcloud Hub 8 (29.0.2) | OS | Linux 5.15.0-1055-raspi aarch64 | OS Version | Lubuntu |
Summary | 0000022: Received faxes show up in Phaxio as a webhook log with 200OK but never arrive in Nextcloud
Description | When receiving a fax, the faxes show up in Phaxio as a webhook log with 200OK but never arrive in Nextcloud. I have tried creating a new app password, however the results are the same. Outbound works normally however.
Steps To Reproduce | Send inbound fax which arrives at the Phaxio web portal and seems to deliver with the url and receives a 200OK in the webhook log, but never actually arrives in Nextcloud

1. What version of Pax Fax are you using ? 2. Have you installed Nextcloud directly on your server, or have you installed the Nextcloud All-In-One Docker image ? 3. What web server do you use: Nginx or Apache ? 4. What do you see in your Nextcloud log when the incoming fax tries to get in Nextcloud ? 5. What errors do you see in your web server's error log when a fax comes in ? No more than 10 minutes ago we had a fax coming in without any problems in Pax Fax 1.1.6 on Nextcloud 29, so, it must be a problem with your specific setup. Also, to test receiving faxes without paying anything, you can use https://www.gotfreefax.com/ or https://faxzero.com/ . |

I have this resolved but to answer your questions, my Nextcloud install is bare metal on the server, meaning not a containerized instance and I am using Nginx as the web server. Pax Fax is version 1.1.6 and Nextcloud is version 29. After creating a new app password, I had logged into the Phaxio web portal and edited just the password portion of the string and saved. Since you had stated that there were no issues with the version 1.1.6 that I have installed on Nextcloud 29 then I went back in and completely removed the url string and saved and then re-created another new app password and replaced the entire url all at once and saved again and then it worked successfully. |

Thank you for the info. We're glad you got it working. |
